The hexagons are to be placed along a line and spaced according to the radius of the first hexagon and whatever I do I cant seem to get any of the constrained hexagons to copy to the new location whilst keeping their constraints. Then, select the hexagon with the extrude tool to cut it into the cylidner to the depth you need. Then, set the number of faces to 6 (should be the default), and make it the size you need the hole to be. The center of the polygon should snap to the center of the circle.

If I draw a circle of HoleSize I can get the first hexagon fully constrained by drawing it on the circles centre and having its edge snap to the circles diameter and then horizontally constraining one of the hexagons edges, BUT if I then draw another hexagon by offset from the first hexagon nothing I have tried will fully constrain the 2nd hexagon and if I follow the same process as the first (draw circle have polygon click to edge) then the first hexagon loses its black lines which revert to blue! Next, make another sketch on top, and select one of the 'create polygon' tools. The shape Im trying to copy is made up of 2 concentric hexagons whose diameter is set within the User Parameters as 'HoleSize' and 'WallThickness" with the radius of the first hexagon set to Holesize and the 2nd hexagon radius is set to HoleSize+WallThickness. Im trying to sketch a large number of shapes (hexagons) which are all the same but in different locations and would like the size of the hexagons to be alterable at some later stage.
